The backbox shall be fabricated of 16- gauge steel and lined with 1.5 in. thick acoustic batting. The rear of the backbox shall include provisions to mount to a 4 in. square, 4 in. octagon, 2-gang or 1-gang E.O. box (not included). The backbox shall feature a 7/8 in. diameter hole for 0.5 in. conduit access. The backbox shall also include four mounting holes and 8-32 U-clips at flanged corners to accept tamper resistant grille Model No. ________ (order separately). The backbox shall measure 11.5 in. square x 4 in. deep and have a white powder epoxy finish. |
