PERFORMANCE Pro Sound ASSEMBLY INCLUDES Driver (4A30): 4 in. 30W coaxial speaker with 10 oz. low frequency and 2 oz. high-frequency magnets. It’s engineered for distributed sound systems requiring a high performance coaxial speaker for even, high-frequency dispersion, low distortion and clear fidelity for foreground music. Speaker features post-mounted dome tweeter, effective crossover and woofer with long excursion, half-roll surround on poly cone. 8 ohm. Transformer: 70V transformer with primary taps at 1, 2, 4, 8W Enclosure (.8 cu.ft.): Steel backbox with 1.5 in. thick acoustic lining. Removable dual knockout wiring compartment cover plate with combination knockouts. Driver leads exit through metal clamp. Grille with Subplate (1 x 2): Fine-perforation grille provides maximum free-air space for excellent sound transmission while maintaining an unobtrusive appearance in new or existing tile ceilings. The 1'x2' system shall replace half of a non-tegular 2'x2' ceiling tile or one-fourth of a non-tegular 2'x4' ceiling tile and shall include an integral T-bar to support adjacent ceiling tile. Each speaker system shall include a 1'x2' subplate with fine perforation steel grille finished in white powder epoxy. The driver magnet weight of 10 ozs., frequency response of 71Hz- 20kHz (ą6dB) and 50Hz-20kHz (ą8.8dB) and average sensitivity of 88.0dB measured 1W/1M. The driver shall include a factory wired 70V transformer with primary taps at 1, 2, 4, and 8W. The system shall also include a 0.8 cu.ft. steel backbox with 1.5" thick fiberglass lining and a black powder epoxy finish. Speaker connections shall exit the .8 cu.ft. backbox through a metal clamp.
